Soft Tissue Release (STR)
  • Increases the range of movement;
  • Localizes a stretch to the fibres and realigns them;
  • Relieves pain;
  • Prevents, repairs and manages injuries.
Muscle Energy Technique (MET)
  • This technique is a manual therapy that uses contraction of the client’s muscles, to relax and lengthen these muscles and to normalise joint motion.
Myo Fascia Release
  • This gently sustains pressure into the restricted areas of myo fascial connective tissue, to eliminate pain and restore motion.

Neuromuscular Technique (NMT)

  • This consists of alternating levels of concentrated pressure on true trigger points, which give out referral pains to another area of the body. The discomfort quickly reduces until it has been eliminated completely with regular massage. There are also reflex points, which have no referral pain and the discomfort is only felt at the point of pressure. NMT will also alleviate this type discomfort.

Friction helps to

  • Separate adhesions (knots) between fibres;
  • Break down scar tissue;
  • Realign tangled fibres;
  • Improve elasticity and movement of muscles;
  • Encourage blood flow and stimulate circulation around the joints.

"I visited Georgina just once during a weekend stay at Shorefield but boy did she make a difference! Although we only had an hour, she managed to get the lowdown on all my various niggles & pains and set about dealing with all of them, which was a small miracle given their number! There was some deep breathing required at times, but the resulting release was amazing and well worth it. It's a shame I live so far away from her practice or I would definitely be a regular visitor." Nikki - Shorefiled Holiday Customer

"I've recently seen Georgie, after hurting my back.
I've had many massages before but never before had a sports massage. I was incredibly impressed how knowledgeable and professional the treatment was.
Georgie was extremely thorough with her consultation, and the treatment was incredible.
I felt I could put my trust in her (which isn't easy when you are in pain) and she put me at total ease.
within the hour I felt like a new person, no pain, relaxed muscles and slept like a baby.
I can highly recommend 😁" Zoe - Massage Therapist and Horse Groom

"I have been regularly visiting Georgina for nearly 5 years for Swedish and sports massage. She helped enormously in my recovery from a broken shoulder last year. Always very professional with excellent knowledge. After 5 years of superb treatment not planning on going to anyone else." Trudie - Holiday Letting Manager
